    Behavior Basics

    Prepare your new puppy for a happy, well-adjusted life with our essential Behavior Basics course! This is the recommended starting point for nearly all dogs with no prior training. We'll transform everyday challenges into easy routines by covering everything from Vehicle & Crate Etiquette to building Grooming & Vet Visit Confidence (including successful nail trimming). You'll develop a rock-solid Recall & Focus to navigate distractions and teach perfect Mealtime Manners around food. Crucially, you'll learn to interpret Canine Communication and strengthen your bond while introducing foundational Basic Obedience skills.

    Obedience Essentials

    For a well-mannered companion, our Obedience Essentials course covers all the skills you need. We focus on reliable responses for foundational commands like Sit, Down, and Go to Place, teaching your dog to respond perfectly to both visual and verbal cues. You'll learn to instill an automatic Stay, confidently Heel on your preferred side, and master a prompt Recall that works when you need it most. A core element of this course is Impulse Control—specifically around exciting temptations like doors and food—all while practicing these vital skills with real-world distractions and outside of the home.

    Hyperfocus & Reactivity

    Does your dog struggle with over-excitement, become fearful in new situations, or lunge, bark, or growl at others? This course is designed specifically to help dogs who display hyperfocus or reactive behaviors toward people, dogs, or environmental triggers. We’ll teach you management techniques and effective training methods to build your dog's confidence and replace intense reactions with calm, thoughtful responses. Learn to understand the roots of your dog’s stress, work safely through their triggers, and establish the clear communication needed to enjoy peaceful walks and a relaxed life together.

    Sporting Dogs

    The Sporting Dogs course offers focused, hands-on training tailored for the dedicated canine athlete. You choose your path: Dog-Powered Sports where you’ll concentrate on the skills needed for Canicross, Bikejoring, Weight Pulling, and Sledding or Agility, where you’ll master skills like contact confidence and tunnel commitment. Our unique approach focuses on motivating the dog by tapping into natural drive and energy. Crucially, we emphasize responsible ownership, covering conditioning, stretching, and nutrition to ensure your dog performs safely and at their absolute best.

    Service Canines

    The Service Canines course is designed to provide clarity and comprehensive preparation for your journey into the world of assistance work. We begin with an essential assessment, discussing the nuanced differences between a Service Dog, Therapy Dog, and ESA dogs to help you determine the best fit for your lifestyle and goals. We will also evaluate whether starting with a young puppy or training your current dog is the most suitable path. Crucially, this course prepares all working dogs to meet the high standards of the Public Access Test (PAT). The core focus is on essential, individualized Task Work, which is vital for all teams. Training is tailored to the client's specific needs, covering a range of life-changing tasks, including psychiatric, mobility, scent-based alerts, and more.

    Farm Dogs

    The Farm Dogs course offers highly specialized, one-on-one training that is tailored entirely to your individual farm's needs and environment. We will focus on teaching your dog reliable behaviors essential for safe and efficient farm work. Training includes specific Place Work for settling in barns or equipment, advanced Directional commands to guide them over distance, and intensive Impulse Control around livestock, machinery, and all other animals. Whether you need your dog to be a calm assistant or a reliable guard, we will address your unique tasks to develop a focused, indispensable farm companion.
